"The Texas Fiddle Camp was an awesome experience to take part in last year. They have something going on in that camp that really connects people together in a way that makes you feel welcome. All the instructors were so informative and insightful with each lesson and made you want to strive harder to get that next part in Dusty Miller down. The jamming at night was the highlight for me because I not only got to play with amazing musicians, but I got to listen to their stories of olden days and all their adventures when they were my age. Really, this camp has a lot to offer to any musician who wants to learn from the best teachers and have fun doing it."

" Last summer was my first time to go to TOTFA's fiddle camp. I was in Wes Westmoreland's class which was very challenging for me. Wes and other adults were so encouraging to me and I came home with songs fully memorized and one of which I am actually working on to compete with! I learned a lot and met lots of new and great people."

"I was so impressed with ALL the teachers at the TOTFA camp! The camp offered as best to one on one private instruction as a group session possibly could. The teachers connected so well with the students and I never got the idea that this was merely a job for the week, it was more like a sincere desire to teach as much as they could. In the evening it was really cool when the both the fiddle and guitar students informally and spontaneously chose to jam together. I think the kids really got a lot out of it!"
